Asus’s latest flagship Mobile – Asus Zenfone 5Z is on the way to India. The company has officially disclosed that this handset will be launched in India on July 4th. Due to no word on pricing, the company has started sending media invitations. Targeted by upper middle class segment, the handset will be a major competitor of OnePlus 6.
About the features, Asus Jenfone 5z is built with a 6.2-inch Full HD + display, with a 1080 × 2246 pixel resolution and a 19: 9 aspect ratio. Below it is very thin bezels, the rest area is covered with display. The handset runs on Android 8.0 Orao-based Zen UI 5.0, which is upgradeable for Android P.
Under the hood of Asus Zenfone 5Z is Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with Adreno 630 Graphics Processing Unit. It comes in two variants: 6GB RAM with 128GB ROM and 8GB RAM with 256GB ROM. Both variants’ internal storage can be expanded up to 2TB via MicroSD.
The Asus Zenfone 5Z features dual rear camera setup – 12MP and 8MP. The 12MP camera has Sony’s IMX363 sensor with 83-degree field of view, f/1.8 aperture and Softlight LED flash; whereas the 8MP camera is a 120-degree wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. The handset also features an 8 megapixels front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 84-degree field of view.
Asus Jenfone 5Z connectivity option is included with USB Type C, GPS A-GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 AC and 4G Volt. It has a 3,300 mAh battery powered by Boostmaster Fast Charging and AI Charging of Asus. In addition, the handset measures 153 × 75.65 × 7.85 mm in dimensions with 155 grams.
