By adding a new smartphone to its budget line-up, Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi Redmi 6. The newcomer is the descendant of Redmi 5, which is still popular in India. The handset has been launched in a program organized in China. Talking about the highlights, the smartphone comes with Face Unlock feature and AI-powered dual cameras.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 is launched in two types: 4 GB RAM with 32 GB Ram and 3 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM. The price of the 3 GB RAM version is CNY 799 (approximately, 4,4,4,400), while the 4 GB RAM version comes with the price tag of CNY 999 (approximately ₹ 10,500). At present, the handset is available only in China (June 15), but we expect that the company will soon push the handset in the Indian market.

Android 8.1-based MIUI is running, Redmi is built around a 5.45 inch HD + display with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixel resolution and an 18: 9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is operated by an octa-core processor running at a speed of 2 GHz clock speed, which is embedded in the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset.
Xiaomi Redmi 6 has a combo behind 12 and 5-megapixel cameras behind AI capabilities. The handset is also a 5-megapixel camera that has been placed in front of self and video calling. Apart from this, connectivity options on smartphones include Micro-USB, GPS A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V5.0 and 4G LTE.
